Our Graphic Design class paired up with an Architecture class to create a set of products. We came up with the company name Adapt and the architects designed products for refugees who may need to use items on the go or have access to quickly.
I wanted to create a brand that would give an organic, natural feel. I also wanted to insinuate an adaptation, the ability to change, throughout the pieces of the project. That is why the book opens piece by piece and why the logo changes weight as it gets closer to the name.
The logo was hand painted using ink and brush, then scanned into Illustrator. This gives the logo the organic feel I desired.
Although we were a group when we came up with the company name and product concepts we each branded Adapt on our own. The work shown here is entirely my own.
