We were asked to create a project that would be a potential solution to homelessness in the Chicago suburbs. This project had to be focused on research of pre-existing solutions and how our solution would stand out from those already in effect.
My group and I came up with Fourfold - an adult education kit for community centers, churches, and homeless shelters. Fourfold is a four-part education system that encompasses GED Prep, Individual Skills, Workplace Skills, and a commencement portion that best prepares participants to enter the work force. The goal is to allow participants to become part of the workforce and teach self sustainability.
We used bright colors and a pattern system to make it fun and not feel like a boring class. The patterns and colors help distinguish the different sections of the classes.
We had to create a presentation and present to our professor and classmates as if we were pitching our idea to an agency. The presentation is what is shown here.
