Our Graphic Design class paired up with an Architecture class to create a set of products. We came up with Adapt: a line of products for refugees who may need to use items on the go or have access to quickly. The main product was the multipurpose sleeping bag that could turn into a bag when moving from place to place.
I wanted to create a brand that would give an organic, natural feel. I also wanted to insinuate an adaptation, the ability to change, throughout the pieces of the project. That is why the book opens piece by piece and why the logo changes weight as it gets closer to the name.
The logo was hand painted using ink and brush, then scanned into Illustrator. This gives the logo the organic feel I desired.
Although we were a group when we came up with the company name, the work shown here is entirely my own. The architects made the products and I did the brand and identity.
