We created zines in our Production Methods class. I wanted to make mine about the 2016 American election since it was extremely controversial and thought provoking amongst every generation. This election obviously stood out more than past elections, and it captivated my attention for months. Making this zine was fun and educational for both myself and classmates.
I chose to make my zine unbiased because I didn't want a specific group of people to read it. I wanted everyone from any political view to appreciate the way politics can inspire and impact art. Each candidate has a short summary of what their views are and what stances they promoted for their campaign.
