I interned with the CSO's design team in 2016. I was given the branding for each artist and was asked to create several different projects from the branding. This included print and web ads, bookmarks, brochures, programs, invitations, postcards, email headers, social media posts, and one front of house sign.
I was given the branding for each artist from a designer. The front of house (FOH) sign is the largest printed piece people see when they enter the CSO. It is the branding given for each artist, so the typography, images, and art direction are all created based on the artist and/or the music they will be playing.
For my final project I was given the information for a composer coming to the CSO in May 2017. I was asked to create a FOH sign based on the information I was given and research I did. The CSO's Art Director and the design team were both so happy with it they decided to keep it exactly as I made it and used it when the composer performed.
Not all of my work is shown due to the large quantity of work I created at the CSO.
I designed 35+ bookmarks,
4 print ads,
17 digital banners,
and one Front of House poster, which was seen in the entrance to the CSO and outside the CSO on Michigan Avenue.
