Kroger was inspired by existing phone-paying options like Chase Quick Pay, Apple Pay, etc. and created the Kroger Pay app so customers can pay at the register with their phone. Their shoppers' cards would also be in the digital wallet, which would help speed up check out times for members, which would then speed up check outs for all customers.
ASK: Create a campaign that launches and promotes Kroger Pay usage in stores.
SOLUTION: Kroger brand colors with simple icons and motivating copy that encourages shoppers to save and earn at the same time by using Kroger Pay.
MY ROLE: I was asked by my CD to create concepts that he might show along with his. He liked my iterations so much that he showed them to client and client picked my design.
I created the concept and from there I designed the pole sign and the pin pad topper. My CD, Rob McPhee, and Erin Shneider contributed to the check pads.
